Infographics for the Chilliwack Fair

The Chilliwack Fair which is B.C. 's second oldest continuously running Fair. I worked in collaboration with one of our media sponsors, to create graphics and captions for the Fair’s social media. The media sponsor provided us the fair with a branding package, which I followed. The Chilliwack’s Fair 150th colours were, Red, Yellow, Green and Blue. The theme of the fair was “150 Years and Growing!”

The Poster

A decision was made to go with two posters to printed on a print run of 50 copies each. These are the two final posters that were printed and displayed around town the month leading up to the event.

I was tasked with creating the poster for the 150th Chilliwack Fair, my brief was to include booth logos, the fair’s theme, dates, location, what is going to be there, sponsorship recognition, the website and to follow the branding package. Below are a few sample posters I did implementing feedback I received from the Board of Directors, Media Sponsor and Event Organizer.

Sponsorship Recognition

The Chilliwack Fair is a Not-for-profit organization and relies on the generous sponsorship from local business and on government grants. Each sponsor was given recognition following their sponsorship agreement two large scale sponsor boards were created.

The boards were 36”x 48” inches, were printed on coroplast were displayed at the main entrance.
